Lilian Audax
Rutabanzibwa

Fourth-year Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Calgary, minoring in Digital Engineering.

Growing up, I watched chronic illness shape the lives of those around me — not just because of the disease itself, but because the journey felt unnecessarily complicated. That stayed with me, and it's why I ended up in biomedical engineering.

I want to build the tools and technologies that make that journey easier — through smarter medical devices, better data, and more human-centered design.

What I bring to a team
🗂
I close loops early
The difference between a project that stays on track and one that drifts is usually not a big decision — it's whether someone is consistently closing small gaps before they become downstream problems. That's how I work.
🔬
I translate across disciplines
I've worked alongside clinicians, engineers, researchers, and educators — and I know how to take what each group needs and turn it into something the others can act on.
📐
I build structure that scales
Whether it's a traceability matrix, a curriculum framework, or a documentation system, I build things that hold up under pressure — and that the next person on the team can actually use.

Documentation LifecycleStakeholder ManagementIterative Delivery
  • Managed 3+ concurrent program streams — maintaining version discipline and closing review loops before they became downstream blockers.
  • Reduced documentation gaps by implementing structured review cycles, cutting revision turnaround time through earlier stakeholder sign-off.
  • Iterated materials across multiple delivery cycles using user feedback, improving clarity with each version.
